In 1952, fourteen people set out on a Journey that was both bold and daring. Inspired by the Spirit of

God, First Baptist Church was born. Many personal sacrifices were made and eventually a piece of land was purchased on the outskirts of Litchfield. It is doubtful that any one of those pioneers could have imagined the depth and breath of ministry that would unfold over the next 50 plus years. We are forever grateful for their vision and the sacrifice they made, allowing us to enjoy the foundations we have today. Since moving to our new location in March 2006, God has deepened our foundations and expanded our impact as a church. We continue to be a community of people connected through relationship with each other and with Christ. Each new person at Cornerstone becomes part of the story God is writing in this place .
